Why Ojas Agriculture exists
Because a cow is worth more to a village than the milk she is sold for, and a village's cattle are easier to keep well together than apart.
The problem, and the aim
India keeps more cattle and buffalo than any other country, and many native breeds suited to its climates. Yet a family with a few cows at home faces rising fodder costs, hours of daily work, and a milk price it does not set.
Ojas Agriculture is a venture of CHITRAM.AI PRIVATE LIMITED. Its aim is shared cattle hostels run with villages, milk worked near where it is produced, and farm inputs made from what the cattle shed gives. None of those is built today; what runs on this site is its shop and the booking pages for published places.
How it is meant to work

Families keep ownership
A cow boarded at a hostel stays her family's property, and so does every calf born to her.
The village shares in it
What the hostel earns from dung — biogas and manure — is meant to go partly back to the village body that provides the land.
