Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how CHITRAM.AI PRIVATE LIMITED (“we”, “us”, or “Ojas Agriculture”) collects, uses and protects personal data on the Ojas Agriculture website: its shop, the booking of places listed on it, and your Ojas account.

Ojas Agriculture runs no cattle hostel, farmer portal or sponsorship, and collects no data for any of them.

We collect what an order, a booking or your account needs:

• Account details: your name, email address, mobile number and, if you give it, your gender.
• Addresses: the delivery and billing addresses you save or enter at checkout.
• Orders and bookings: what you bought or booked, the dates, the amounts and whether they have been paid.
• Preferences and consents: your theme, and the permissions you have given, which you can review under Security in your account.
• Usage data: pages viewed and device and browser information, for reliability and fraud prevention, and — where analytics is switched on — as described under Cookies and analytics below.

• To create and run your account.
• To take, confirm and fulfil your orders and bookings.
• To send confirmations, receipts and service messages.
• To answer support requests and enforce our Terms of Service.
• To meet tax, accounting and other legal record-keeping obligations.

• The seller of a product you order, or the operator of a place you book, as much as they need to fulfil it.
• Payment processors, to take a payment and process a refund. We do not store full card numbers ourselves.
• Service providers who host our infrastructure or send transactional messages for us, under contract.
• Law enforcement or regulators, only when legally compelled.

We do not sell personal data, and we send no order, booking or account record to any advertising network. What the site's page-view analytics can send is set out below.

Our own cookies are a session cookie that keeps you signed in, a preference cookie that remembers your theme so pages paint correctly on first load, and two almanac cookies that remember which city the calendar strip at the top of each page reads for, and whether you chose it or we estimated it — a city you pick is kept for a year, an estimate for a week. Your browser also keeps a cart token and a few interface preferences in its own local storage, on your device.

How the almanac city is estimated. Until you pick a city, we may estimate one from your IP address, on our own servers, using a locally installed copy of the DB-IP City Lite or MaxMind GeoLite2 database. Your address is not sent to either company, the estimate keeps no record of it, and all it produces is the name of a nearby city. The strip marks the city as an estimate, and picking any city replaces it.

Analytics. This site is built to load Google Analytics 4 and the Meta (Facebook) pixel. They load only on a deployment that has been given a measurement id or a pixel id and has analytics switched on; with neither configured, no Google or Meta script is loaded. Where they are configured they set their own cookies, and the only thing our code tells them is which page you opened. Google and Meta then collect their own technical details, such as your IP address and browser.

There is no cookie consent banner here, and we do not detect a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. To stop the analytics scripts, block cookies and scripts for this site in your browser; the site works with them blocked.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask to see, correct or erase your personal data, and withdraw a consent you have given. Under Security in your account you can download a copy of your data and close your account. For anything else, contact our Grievance Officer:
